On 29 January 2011, Alex Linley completed a 200m extreme swim across Britain's coldest lake, Llyn Llydaw on Snowdon. With a water temperature of just 0-1C, and wearing just Speedos, a swimming cap and goggles, this was a remarkable achievement of mind over matter - as you can see by watching the ice-bath training, a test swim and the full swim on YouTube.
