Emma Trenier, MSc - Consulting Psychologist
Emma Trenier is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Consulting Psychologist at CAPP. Specialising in career development, team development and performance management she is passionate about helping people to understand their strengths and maximise their use.
Emma’s particular areas of interest include working with individuals and teams who are experiencing times of transition and developing manager capability to lead high performing teams. Emma has recently been instrumental in the development of The Strengths-based Manager, which helps managers maximise their strengths in the way they manage others.
Emma has a broad consultancy experience base, developing high impact development interventions within both the public and private sector. Recent clients have included Aviva, Allied Irish Bank, Boehringer Ingleheim, Cable and Wireless, Birmingham City Council, Coventry City Council and Warwick University.
Emma holds a BSc in Applied Psychology from Cardiff University, an MSc from London Metropolitan University and Level A and B Certificates in Psychometric Testing. She is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the BPS Special Group in Coaching. She is a regular speaker at professional conferences and is published in a number of professional outlets, including Assessment and Development Matters and Phoenix, the journal of the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services.
