Gurpal Minhas, BSc (Hons), MSc – Consulting Psychologist
Gurpal is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and works as part of the Capp Advisory team, where he delivers work across Capp’s four Advisory areas of assessment, development, performance management and change. His areas of specialism include strengths-based assessment, people management, re-organisation and research into the validity of strengths-based approaches within organisations. Gurpal has project managed long-term client projects with Aviva, Birmingham City Council, Thomson Reuters and GSK, working across organisational boundaries, time zones, geographical locations and cultures in doing so. Gurpal is also a trainer on Capp’s Realise2 Strengths Practitioner and Team Strengths Practitioner programmes, which he delivers both face-to-face and remotely for clients around the world. Gurpal holds a BSc (Hons) Psychology and a Masters (with distinction) in Occupational Psychology from Aston University. He is a member of the Division of Occupational Psychology (British Psychological Society), and a registered Healthcare Professional. Gurpal is an experienced researcher, applying his knowledge and insights to Capp’s advisory work. Gurpal’s research outputs have been published in the International Coaching Psychology Review, Assessment and Development Matters and the Journal of Positive Psychology. Gurpal’s leading Realise2 strengths include Efficacy, Pride, Strategic Awareness and Curiosity, all of which he uses in delivering his consulting projects and aiming to delight his clients in doing so.
