Emma Trenier - Consulting Psychologist
Emma Trenier is a Consulting Psychologist at CAPP and a specialist in strengths development, career development and team development. Emma is passionate about helping people to understand their strengths and maximise their use. In particular, she enjoys doing this with individuals and teams who are experiencing transition.
Emma has a broad consultancy experience base within both the public and private sector. Her clients have included Aviva, Transport for London, Greater London Authority, London Development Agency, Cisco Systems, NHS, BT and Johnson and Johnson. She has project managed research projects including an Evaluation of the Change Agent pool at Birmingham City Council and research into the Psychology of Mobile Working at Cisco Systems. She has also project managed strength based recruitment assignments such as recruitment for the Graduate Training Scheme at Aviva, and development projects such as the Me at My Best development programme for Executive Assistants at Boehringer Inglehein.
She is also currently at the cutting edge of CAPP Programme design and delivery. The purpose of CAPP Programmes is to work towards the mission of ‘Strengthening the World’ through bringing Strengths Psychology and practice into the public domain in a way that is inspirational, engaging and highly usable.
Emma holds a BSc in Applied Psychology from Cardiff University, an MSc from London Metropolitan University and Level A and B Certificates in Psychometric Testing. She is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the BPS Special Group in Coaching. At CAPP she plays the roles of facilitator, trainer and coach as well as project managing many of CAPPs key projects.
The strengths that Emma brings to the CAPP team include her energy, desire to bring psychology to life and ability to translate psychological principles into engaging and relevant learning experiences. Others also know her for her creativity and ability to mobilize others into action.
